Kayak Gozo and Comino Guided Kayak Adventure
Join Kayak Gozo - the 2025 Gozo Tourism Awards Winner - for an unforgettable kayaking experience! We’ll take a kayak adventure to beautiful Comino – exploring caves, crystal waters, gorgeous bays, beaches or rock formations (weather dependent)! This experience is a half-day guided tour (10am - 1pm or 2:30pm-5:30pm) from Gozo to Comino. We'll either head clockwise past Santa Marija towards the Blue Lagoon or the reverse route. You will see amazing caves, bays and rock formations. Please understand that all tours are weather-dependent and not all areas/routes may be accessible. This tour is for beginners and experienced kayakers. The tour has 2.5 hours of kayaking and includes 30 min break. In the break, you can swim, relax and explore on land! If needed, the guide will teach you the basics and make sure you feel comfortable! This is an active adventure, so a basic level of fitness and swimming ability required. We will pick you up at the excursion hub which is by the bottom of the zipline by the green gondola. Also do not go the kayak center. There are two kayak business in town. Kayaking to the mangroves
After a brief instruction, we will depart from Pontal beach at the historic center of Paraty towards Ilha dos Pombos (birds) where we can appreciate a multitude of exotic plants and a spectacular view. Soon after, we will enter the last mangrove within the city of Paraty. A whole adventure with a few surprises along the way; suddenly some Toucan, imperial heron, not forgetting the beautiful family of capybaras that live there. Then we will paddle towards the Perequê Açu river; passing through the historic center of Paraty, to enjoy the city from a different perspective and take beautiful photos of the curiosities, characters and historical places along the way. see you soon !!
